HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. CHECK THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You can apply to the two Categories if you are born between
1996 - 2002 (inclusive) or 2003 - 2008 (inclusive).
All applications should be in English.
The final short documentary should be under 15 minutes long.
We do not accept 2D or 3D animation, stop-motion or VR projects.

2. IMAGINE YOUR STORY

Traditionally, we think of documentaries as content allowing us to see planet earth from a different perspective, with a focus on the peril our world is in. But it doesn’t have to be that.

There are many ways to talk about the climate emergency, from the stories of our grandparents and a unique idea for how we can eliminate all plastic packaging to the ideas we had during the lockdown and a friend who changed the habits of a community: they can all engage, touch and motivate humanity to change course if told in the right way.

Impactful environmental stories can be found anywhere as long as we are brave enough to look and imagine.

3. CHOOSE YOUR NARRATIVE STYLE

You will find all helpful information and steps in the application form. Here are some examples:
1 Personal diaries

2 Heroes

3 A vision for the future

4 Solutions and ideas

5 Natural History

4. FILL IN THE APPLICATION

Find all instructions and helpful tips
in the application form.
You can always save your application
